Bison is part of the base-devel group which is a general prerequisite for using AUR. I don't really see any point adding it as a dependency. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository#Prerequisites

bison is missing on makedends, I got:
==> Starting prepare()... ./bootstrap: line 272: bison: command not found ./bootstrap: Error: 'bison' not found
./bootstrap: See README-prereq for how to get the prerequisite programs ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in prepare(). Aborting... ==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build ls-icons.
