I just wanted to request a minor change to the PKGBUILD. On up to date systems or possibly also on any system were the user changed the standard version of openjdk the default path of java links like this: /usr/lib/jvm/default -> java-12-openjdk. The PKGBUILD references this path in the "Fix Java" section on 5 occurences. However the package has jdk8-openjdk as a dependency, probably because it is legacy code. Since I don't want to verify that all the software works with newer versions of openjdk could you please replace all 5 occurrences of "/usr/lib/jvm/default" with the static path "/usr/lib/jvm/java-8-openjdk". Thanks in advance.

@sl1pkn07 Don't laugh, the last time I installed this package a few weeks ago it still worked.

There is still an error with a 404 link to a pdf file: '==> ERROR: Failure while downloading https://www.broadcom.com/docs-and-downloads/advanced-software/advanced-software-common-files/SLA_AdvancedSoftware.pdf Aborting...'

I commented all lines out that reference the pdf and it compiled. Would be kewl if you could make this fix permanent.

Since this is by far the easiest way to install this software for my ancient raid controller I really appreciate that you still care.

I can't get MSM to discover my ESXI host. "Servers could not be found because server may be down or server not installed in the host system" I've played with every 'configure host' setting, tho the ESXI-CIMOM or display all settings should work and work in windows. It's working in Windows, so I'm sure the esxi server is setup properly. I've got a DNS entry for the esxi machine that is detected when I run the 'host' command. Just to make sure, I've entered my own IP, and the esxi ip for 'Discover Host'. I've tried manually setting the ip and host in /etc/hosts like I originally did in windows. No good. The output of startupui.sh is always. [user@localmachine ~]$ sudo /usr/share/MegaRAID_Storage_Manager/startupui.sh VENUS_FLAG true localePath for res file::en Inside loadVivaldikeyProp localePath for res file::en System time before socket connection:Sun Jul 23 16:32:26 CDT 2017 Socket connection to 192.168.1.100 failed on retry System time before socket connection:Sun Jul 23 16:32:33 CDT 2017 Socket connection to 192.168.1.100 failed on retry 'Socket connection to 192.168.1.100 failed on retry' instantly happens when I click 'Discover Host' Anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong or something I could try? Someone mentioned earlier something about manually setting the IP. Is there a way to force a connection attempt to an IP?
