Updated for new pacman/makepkg syntax. Rewrite the launcher script to be a little more sensible.

Thanks - it worked after recreated .lugaru, but hopefully this will help others.
Only issue I have now is occasional crashes and costume swaps on bunnies!

@yochaigal I had that bug as well. In my case it was because the ~/.lugaru/Data/config.txt file had "0" for both Screenwidth and Screenheight. I set those to the correct values and it worked fine after that.

yochaigal commented on 2012-07-05 15:24

Actually black screen went away after I moved my .lugaru folder...

yochaigal commented on 2012-07-04 20:03

I get a black screen on launch; closed-source version works fine.

libpng dependency should be changed to libpng14, otherwise it won't run properly

julroy67 commented on 2011-05-22 20:32

Bug should be now fixed. If anything still wrong please report on http://code.google.com/p/lugaru/issues/detail?id=20.

OK, here's a small workaround to enable saving users. Do the following commands as root after installing:

rm /opt/Lugaru/Data/{Users,config.txt}
chmod a+w /opt/Lugaru/Data

Now Lugaru should save your progress. But I don't know whether it works with more than one (linux) user accounts.

Anonymous comment on 2011-01-02 17:52

Will someone implement that patch anytime soon?

julroy67 commented on 2010-06-14 20:14

Seems your're right, when no user already exists, it doesn't save the config in the current build. I reported bug here http://code.google.com/p/lugaru/issues/detail?id=20 and fortunately I didn't try without my save for a long moment, I can't say to which revision you can go.

The game is working fine, but at next run it forgets about my progress and suggests me to create a new user. Installed as sudo yaourt lugaruhd-hg. I've done something wrong or this is a bug of this build?

julroy67 commented on 2010-06-08 20:37

New build for the license change of a part of the Data, now licensed as CC-BY-SA

julroy67 commented on 2010-06-05 07:13

Hmm sorry for the trouble, I mistyped the makedepend array, this time it should propose you the install the necessary.

/tmp/yaourt-tmp-doug/aur-lugaruhd-hg/./PKGBUILD: line 27: hg: command not found

Line 27 is:
hg clone $_hgroot $_hgrepo || return 1

julroy67 commented on 2010-06-05 07:07

Should be working this time ;)

CMake Error: The source directory "/home/doug/builds/lugaruhd-hg/src" does not appear to contain CMakeLists.txt.

Or you could use this old, but working package http://julroy67.free.fr/DL/lugaruhd-hg-119-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz if wan't immediatly to play.

julroy67 commented on 2010-05-13 08:51

Repo is in big activity for a cleaning process, each new revision can broke the game. If you sure want only to play, you should modifiy PKGBUILD to pull revision 119 and pull cmake branch (sorry ;(), otherwise you could have chance if it compiles fine.

Added cmake as makedepend, installs the license for the assets and the icon with a .desktop added.

korin43 commented on 2010-05-13 03:48

This won't build for me. I get "undefined reference to main". Maybe something changed in the repo? :(

Anonymous comment on 2010-05-12 23:15

perhaps add cmake as a makedepend?

julroy67 commented on 2010-05-12 20:26

Yes, it is exactly the same version as the one distributed in the Humble pack : http://www.wolfire.com/humble (and you can compare with these screenshots http://blog.wolfire.com/2009/05/lugaru-hd/)
