This package's name suggests it is providing an upstream release, but neither a release or even tags exist upstream.
So actually it was faulty right from the beginning.
What it in fact does, is complement VCS commits with some patches. Basically, all of these should have gone upstream.
Btw.,
fix_build_qt511.patch
is obsolete (meanwhile all implemented upstream),russian_translation.patch
should be handled via issue tracker plus translation web app anduse_app_font.patch
is still applicable. Now by "Basically" I meant that upstream is unmaintained since quite a while, albeit not necessarily for once.
The latest commit doesn't even build on current Arch any more, I for one lack both time and skills to look into this.
So what to do?
IMHO, if anyone of you other package maintainers can come up with the necessary patches, it would be worth trying to get them upstream. If this fails, this package should probably either get a pinned comment explaining the current status or be deleted. The same goes for its VCS counterpart, where a deletion has already been suggested recently.
