Important note: Is recommended to receive the following key before to install:

$ gpg --recv-keys DE7A44FAC7FB382D

Also is possible skip the verification, adding the flag for (e.g makepkg, yay) --skippgpcheck, --nopgpfetch, respectively.

I echo and affirm all 5 of the previous comments ;-) @carlosal1015 thanks for taking over maintainance of this but... Please don't put 2.4.0 here. If it works at all it should be under lyx-devel or something like that. Why is this in the AUR all of a sudden and this PKGBUILD is a bit broken anyway. Note that 2.4.0 is not in the 'stable' directory but in the 'devel' directory. That's why this broke.

AFAIK Lyx 2.4.0 is not stable, but still in the devel repository. And not even beta, but alpha3. https://ftp.lip6.fr/pub/lyx/devel/lyx-2.4/

Can you please fix this PKGBUILD, as it currently only throws HTTP 404 errors.
