@zxp19821005 Thanks for clarifying! Given this is a good-faith fork, no need to delete the package for now.

Several unrelated projects already exist as packages on the AUR, all under the m3u8-downloader name. So this one doesn’t really add much to the existing confusion.

@Auerhuhn In fact, I didn't think that much, mainly because the previous version HeiSir2014 was no longer updated more than 1 year, that's all. If you think this is not safe, I can delete this package.

thanks for the PKGBUILD!

Notably, this is a relatively unknown fork by a GitHub user named 12343954 instead of HeiSir2014’s well-known upstream project.

I’m sure there’s a perfectly good reason for your choice.
That being said – and given that this is a binary release which is rather difficult to audit in the first place – I’d be happy to learn a little more about 12343954’s fork.

Would you mind clarifying why you chose that particular fork?
