Thanks for the feedback. It took me a while to get to it... I've added a patch to load the gamecontrollerdb.txt from the appropriate system location and installed it there.

Please either install gamecontrollerdb.txt to /usr/share/m8c/ and create a patch for the application to look there, or use another approach, possibly based on m8c-bin.
