Sorry for my lack of response! hobarrera has submitted an orphan request to be able to apply the fix re: license variable, I've set hobarrera and philspence as co-maintainers if they can resolve this before I do.

Changing Line 10 from

license="GPL3"
to
license=("custom")

fixes the "License needs to be an array" error.
