Update to 1.10.7 is available: https://github.com/Foundry376/Mailspring/releases/download/1.10.7/mailspring-1.10.7-amd64.deb
That fixes the IMAP setup issue. I kindly ask you to update the AUR as well. Thanks!

What an annoying app. Wants you to create a mailspring account. Borderless window without quit. Creates an autostart entry. At that point already uninstalled it.

Seems to work but it also crashes in background and creating a thousands of lines the error code "core dumped" logs..
