Source array needs to be updated to this format:${pkgver}/${pkgname}-${pkgver}.tar.bz2

Updated. Thanks Morn for the new PKGBUILD. Sorry for the delay.

Here's an updated PKGBUILD for 7.0.5:

Note that we now need to use wxgtk2.8 because wx 2.9/3.0 does not work with Maitreya 7 ATM.

Morn commented on 2013-12-22 13:09

Aspect lines and symbols in the Western chart are broken in 7.0.4, but this can be fixed by applying the patch below (which simply reverts a bad change between 7.0.3 and 7.0.4):

--- maitreya-7.0.3/src/gui/WesternChart.cpp 2012-08-29 13:39:16.000000000 +0200

Updated to 7.0.3 and changed the font install directory /usr/share/fonts/TTF.

You can safely ignore the warning: "WARNING: Package contains reference to $srcdir"

arcticblaze commented on 2013-02-04 06:36

Updated to 7.0.3 and changed the font install directory /usr/share/fonts/TTF.

schuay commented on 2012-12-08 12:15

vorbote: Feel free to adopt and change this yourself :)

vorbote commented on 2012-12-08 12:13

Forgot to mention that /usr/share/fonts/TTF is searched by the X server at start up.

vorbote commented on 2012-12-08 12:11

Please install the font into /usr/share/fonts/TTF to follow the non-written standard in Arch.

How to add libfontconfig to the linker command line. Could someone create a patch?

schuay commented on 2012-06-28 17:08

7.0 is out, and the build still fails with the same error. The fix is easy (add libfontconfig to the linker command line).
I'm orphaning this package since I don't use it.

I've notified upstream, will let you know once I hear back from them.

on x86_64, build fails with the following error

/usr/bin/ld: ../pdf/libmaitreya_pdf.a(pdffontmanager.o): undefined reference to symbol 'FcPatternAddInteger'
/usr/bin/ld: note: 'FcPatternAddInteger' is defined in DSO /usr/lib/ so try adding it to the linker command line

The old --as-needed build errors haven't been fixed yet, and they introduced some new LDFLAGS concatenation bugs that also prevent a correct build. I'm going to wait this one out.

schuay commented on 2010-04-13 16:08

The first development version of 6.0 is out since April 11, 2010.
Some features are known to be broken.

I'm sticking with v5 for now until either a more complete v6 is released or I get some requests from you, the users, to update early.
