It appears that malaga has moved somewhere and curl fails downloading it. I marked as out-of-date because of that.

Yes and I tried both. It simply fails at that point regardless.

That is really strange..... Are you sure you are using the
7.12-4 version of the PKGBUILD. Did you remove the sed clause
from the PKGBUILD? Are you fully up-to-date? That should not
happen cuz I am sedding in the lm lib to the linker....

I have the same problem as drone78 had before:

Linking malshow
/usr/bin/ld: canvas.o: undefined reference to symbol 'ceil@@GLIBC_2.2.5'
/usr/bin/ld: note: 'ceil@@GLIBC_2.2.5' is defined in DSO /lib/libm.so.6 so try adding it to the linker command line
/lib/libm.so.6: could not read symbols: Invalid operation
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [malshow] Virhe 1
==> VIRHE: Virhe tapahtui funktiossa build().
Peruutetaan...

Won't build on x86_64:

Linking malsym
/usr/bin/ld: canvas.o: undefined reference to symbol 'ceil@@GLIBC_2.2.5'
/usr/bin/ld: note: 'ceil@@GLIBC_2.2.5' is defined in DSO /lib/libm.so.6 so try adding it to the linker command line
/lib/libm.so.6: could not read symbols: Invalid operation
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [malshow] Error 1
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().
Aborting...
The build failed.
