@fordprefect This is what I had so far for the new version, but I didn't have it working yet. I hope you can get it working. http://hastebin.com/qisehugelu.parser3

Warning! This package is currently in bad shape and should no be used as is! It is currently refactored and updated, when all issues are fixed. EDID: Uploaded an update for 1.5, but still strongly discourage using this as is.

Thanks @fabbox The link was updated to a new gzip file with the sha256sum that you provided. I updated the PKGBUILD without bumping the version since it is the same for anyone who has already built it but should now build for new users. The only difference in the old and new tar.gz is the old tar.gz upstream had left a local .git folder in the package, everything else was the same.

Hello. I've got some trouble with the sha256sum. On my local machine, the sha256sum is '79b475e7217e6019289f9c13d5c0e4e39e85db57831e894b36324c77a375a77a' for the maldetect-1.4.2.tar.gz.

@kabbalah100 I updated the package to work on 32 bit, although I don't have a 32 bit machine to test it on so I'm not sure if it actually works.

matth commented on 2015-02-13 21:45 (UTC)

@kabbalah100 Thanks for the report for the 32 bit version. You can just remove that dependency from the PKGBUILD and then be able to build it successfully. I'll update the package at some point soon so it doesn't include it for 32 bit.

Hello, I have a Dell Netbook 32 Bit and want to install Maldet in this, but lib32-glibc dependency does not exist, only exists for 86X64, so do not know how I install Maldet or dependence. Thanks for your reply.

It builds an empty package, use ${pkgdir} which is much more reliable instead of ../../pkg. Updated pkgbuild is here http://pastebin.com/aRPXGzdX.
