This is a git pkgbuild. Please do not flag out of date or complain about new versions released unless the pkgbuild no longer correctly builds the package.

@ssharpjr yay shows it out of date because unfortunately people here keep flagging it as out of date... No, the pkgbuild doesn't need an update.

Does this PKBUILD just need its version updated? It installs 0.8.0 fine, but 'yay' shows it as Out of Date.

@Kunda this is a vcs pkgbuild - no need to update the pkgbuild unless it stops building correctly with the latest manuskript revision. It appears to build and run ok for me with the same pkgbuild, so you should be able to rebuild the package to update to 0.8.0.

0.8.0 released http://www.theologeek.ch/manuskript/2018/12/05/manuskript-0-8-0/

@Ray I tested building and running it with the latest version. It seemed to be fine. Please let me know if there's anything specific that needs updating in an install file?

PS. remember this is a vcs package, so simply rebuild and install to get the latest git version - pkgbuild will handle updating the package version automatically.

@Ray thanks for letting me know; I'll get to this after the weekend. :)

And a followup. Removed the app (completely) and then reinstalled after conversations with the developer.

whatever was happening is resolved. The proper versioned application is pulling and installing fine now. Filing this under "wtf" and moving on.

Thank you for maintaining this app. :-)

I have reported a couple bugs to the devs, and they indicated that the version I'm using (built from this package) is an older version of the application (probably version 4 or 5). While I'm awaiting feedback, I figured I'd better report this here as well.

I won't flag out of date at this point, but whatever is pulling to be built...definitely is out of date.

fyi.
