Build fails for me with

==> Starting build()...
gprbuild -p -j0 -XBUILD_MODE=dev gnat/markdown.gpr -cargs
gprbuild: error while loading shared libraries: libgpr.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
make: *** [Makefile:29: all] Error 127
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().

I have installed gprbuild from the [ada] repository; when I run it it fails with

gprbuild: error while loading shared libraries: libgpr.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Using gprbuild-bootstrap fixes the issue, as well as building gprbuild from the AUR.

Regards!

I pondered this for quite a while.

Using the same name as Adacore simplifies the PKGBUILD a little. I checked if the name was already used in both the official archy repo's and in the AUR.

Since it wasn't used, I tentatively decided to go with plain 'markdown' unless/until one of the archlinux trusted users objects.

I might open a conversation on the #ada irc channel (#ada@irc.libera.chat). You'd be very welcome there. It is friendly channel (I'm a channel op) and is devoted to opensource Ada projects.

I wonder if this package should be renamed something like ada-markdown or ada-libmarkdown.
