I've added unique file naming for the source file to prevent file checksum collisions in the future, this should fix the problem. Let me know if you have any more issues.

I have the checksum issue, too. It seems not to download new file but compare the checksum of old marksman-linux file. E.g., the checksum of local file posted up there 7fba7a7110e727ed01beae8009d5c366de2b5661552d21d5213994e7f0a15180 is the checksum from version 2022_07_31, not new version 2022_08_07.

But if I clean up the PKGBUILD directory and build again, the issue is no more.

Maybe something is preventing makepkg from downloading new file.

I've manually verified on two different machines the checksums agree with the PKGBUILD. Commands used below:

sha256sum marksman-linux

What AUR helper are you using? I get no errors when using paru

I have the same issue with the sha256sums, also when checking manually.
