@holwes, actually that project is not specific to Debian and works fine on Arch. You can clone it, and then just use the Makefile in the
generic
folder (instead of the one namedDebian

Is there a way to make the hooks located at /sys/devices/platform/huawei-wmi user-writeable? For Debian there is an additional project: https://github.com/qu1x/huawei-wmi But what about Arch?

Note that as of linux 5.5 huawei-wmi-dkms v3.3 is included by default. Therefore, this program should drop that dependency, or make it optional/recommended. See https://github.com/aymanbagabas/Huawei-WMI.
