There are now two issues here.

  1. The tray icon doesn't work. But when I extract the appimage and run directly, the tray icon shows up. I have no idea how to fix this.

  2. This package is built with !strip option, otherwise it won't work.

  3. Wayland is not supported

On Wayland, MathPix segfaults on launch. I fixed it by setting the QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb environment variable.

@shmilee, upgrading to 03.00.0130 does not fix it.

$ mathpix-snipping-tool 
mathpix-snipping-tool: error while loading shared libraries: libquazip1-qt5.so.1.4.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
$ pacman -Q mathpix-snipping-tool 
mathpix-snipping-tool 03.00.0138-1

Start up fail. Error message:

@guanmfei, I guess we all face this issue. But I have no way to sovle it.

The tray icon is missing in my kde desktop too.
