Who know how to let the icon of Mathpix's icon show on the system tray on KED? THANKS!

I updated my local version to the latest successfully, follwing the commentted commands( install jq first)

## run these to get the source URL and the version
# curl -H 'X-Ubuntu-Series: 16' https://api.snapcraft.io/api/v1/snaps/details/mathpix-snipping-tool | jq '.download_url' -r
# curl -H 'X-Ubuntu-Series: 16' https://api.snapcraft.io/api/v1/snaps/details/mathpix-snipping-tool | jq '.version' -r

then replace the pkgver, source and md5sums with the latest version's.

I have found the same behavior: black screen when trying to capture a formula. $ lspci | grep VGA 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation HD Graphics 530 (rev 06)

I can install it successfully on Manjaro. But when I try to capture a formula, the screen turns into fully black, anyone knows what's going on?

@marc That is not the package's problem. Mathpix needs system tray to show app icon, so you need to use a desktop environment with the tray. (If you are using Gnome, just install TopIcons extension.)

It doesn't work on my different computers. Installation went smoothly but when I run mathpix-snipping-tool I have the following meassage in a dialog box: "Couldn't detect system tray on this system".
