This error when I ran

This error when I tried to enable matrixgl in xscreensaver run /usr/share/matrixgl/add-user-entry.sh scipt
Error: File '~/.xscreensaver' does not exist
Are you sure you have xscreensaver installed?
Try running 'xscreensaver-demo', and then re-run this script
This is probably a Gnome and derivative only until its repacked. Way too many packages required in KDE for a screensaver.

Moved xscreensaver from optdepends to depends. It's required during the build.
Can you check if that works for you?

Perhaps you should add xscreensaver to the dependencies list, though even with it installed I had this error.
Error: xscreensaver directories cannot be found.
Use --disable-xscreensaver or if you're sure you have xscreensaver installed, file a bug as detailed in the README. Our script creates the bug report for you, so please send it :)
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().
P.S.
Thanks for working on this, would love to get it running on my system.
