The build for this is broken due to a missing source directory argument in cmake (CMake Error: No source or binary directory provided). Editing the PKGBUILD and adding . at the end of the cmake call let me built it successfully.

All Maui/Mauikit pkgbuilds will be in a mixed or broken state for a while
