New version that http://invisible-island.net/datafiles/release/mawk.tar.gz extracts into is 1.3.4-20161107 and the sha256 sum is: f086b6571cb8b3c76447363e1ee321196800b83da51761d26fa09f2cec8c97d6

The "provides" is wrong, though. This was fixed a while ago in nawk: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/26878
