Listen, I already created a package that fetches the last commit. This package should be for a stable version, with versioning, etc. When you think a version is stable, just tag it in mercurial, and make a tarball for download. Then and only then you have to change the checksum and the version number in the PKGBUILD.

But the checksum for the most recent changeset would change as soon as another changeset is pushed to the source repository...

makepkg --geninteg
gives you the checksum.

Oh, I forgot to mention you must use the '--skipinteg' switch for this package.
Since the source is dynamic (it points to the most recent changeset), I would have to query BitBucket to find out what the checksum is.
Any suggestions on how to obtain the checksum?
