This package was created because mdadm-git was not using the new upstream. mdadm-git has since been changed to use the new upstream, so this package is outdated.

I've flagged the package out of date because the upstream has moved to kernel.org. I had to build this package for myself anyway so I put it in AUR as mdadm-kernel.org-git. I've based the PKGBUILD on the core mdadm, since there were already a number of (old) comments about the quality of the PKGBUILD here.

If this were a properly formatted git PKGBUILD (such as the prototype available in /usr/share/pacman), you wouldn't need the date hack in the pkgver declaration.

Updated, now it changes the version automatically.
