@foggybrain: for me the only useful program for dvb-t is mpv using dvb://<channel> syntax. I still hope that this version of me-tv will become useful one day.

Yeah, I know, it is not as good as the old one. As the developer wrote on its repository:
"NB This is a rewrite of Me TV for GTK and GStreamer using the Rust programming language and the gtk-rs and gstreamer-rs bindings."
For using the old me-tv see me-tv-bzr

Took ages to build compared to original me-tv. I Created channels .conf file as per instructions. On first run it just displayed crappy windows spawning other crap windows. Channels all displayed in one long list. No video on channel selection and No EPG. No separate client and server. Interface is not like me-tv at all. Waste of time trying, doesn't work.

As for me-tv, this is a rust rewrite of the old me-tv available in launchpad; it is still in early development but it's kinda good for just seeing TV.
