@sistematico: when symlinking don't prefix path with ${pkgdir}. Just use ln -s /opt/medleytext/medley-latest.AppImage ${pkgdir}/usr/bin/${pkgname}

@sistematico: add options=(!strip), otherwise payload of AppImage gets stripped and you ended up with loader only (~100KiB) ;)

So this will often give an error that the downloaded package fails the checksum as this is currently downloading the most up to date package from Medley Text's S3 storage. The package will change without the checksum changing.

Work around is as follows:

1) Download the pastebin from 3ED-0's comment and place in the download directory and rename as PKGBUILD

2) run makepkg -s to download the appimage. The installation will fail.

3) sha256sum medley-latest.AppImage to get the correct checksum

4) Edit the PKGBUILD file above to replace the first element of sha256sums with the checksum you calculated in step 3.

5) Save the PKGBUILD and re-run makepkg -s and all should be well.

This should be reasonably safe as you a pulling the latest appimage from Medley Text.

md5 for the AppImage source is out of date. As of now it's: '54d87c2543ea2ec94078548e7cfb8f5c' but the file should be added to the package, not retrieved from s3 (imo)
