@justbispo: The official package does conflict with megatools. I am not sure whether the conflict is only nominal and could be lifted without any real problem. I tend to believe that is the case. Perhaps people could give it a go and report whether it works for them.

Is there any reason why this package conflicts with megatools? megasync doesn't conflict with it and both packages work fine.

update to 5.6, actually does not install because can't download 5.5 package from mega server.

The problem is still there in v5.2.1-5. I reported the problem here: https://github.com/meganz/MEGAsync/issues/939

in v5.2.1-5 the icu74 package is no longer required

After installing icu74 megasync starts. Thanks!

You can temporarly add 'icu74' from aur as deps

@maxlefou: Yes, this should also affect the users of the upstream package, so I expect a new release soon. We just have to wait.

maxlefou commented on 2024-05-20 09:36 (UTC)

Doesn't work anymore since the icu update. "No such file or directory" for libicuuc.so.74

@rpanerai: No. The problem is still there in v5.2.1-4. I reported the problem here: https://github.com/meganz/MEGAsync/issues/939
