Your suggestions should work fine, I went for the comment-out approach for the python part because it was easier.

Hi, thank you for packaging my app!

I made it build and link SDL3 statically to avoid needing extra run-time dependencies, which becomes a nightmare between distros, so the universal binary just builds and includes SDL3 by itself to be easier to distribute.

Since this here is specific to archlinux, I think we can work something out. I think it should be sufficient to have sdl itself as a dependency here, and provide a cmake preset to link SDL3 dynamically. I'll try that and report back.

Also should be fairly easy to add an option to avoid the python venv and just expect the dependencies to be installed in system python.

@Seqularise worked-around in 0.1.r3.gd950305-3, not sure how to have memsed link against system SDL/Glad because memsed tries to statically-link them.

Can`t build in chroot, sdl cannot be found
