Workaround no longer needed, so removed it.
I had some graphic problems and solved them by adding configure flags from official arch mesa package.
Lone_Wolf commented on 2013-01-21 21:24 (UTC)
package failed build due to an incorrect check for the presence of libxml2, see https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31598 .
Using a workaround to solve that issue for now.

abbradar: The problem with "bin/minstall not found" seems to because it have been removed (http://cgit.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/commit/?id=b585c0059c7c2420f4b7ceb95e8017453316f2ab), I will update the PKGBUILD when I have looked a bit more on it. About nouveau wont build, hmm, I will take a look when I get time.

Packaging fails with "bin/minstall not found"
"bin/install-sh" works instead.
Also, got build errors for nouveau on current git head, disabled nouveau because I don't need it.

For wine you'll likely need my lib32-mesa-r300-r600-radeonsi-git package.
for S3TC compression, you'll need libtxc-dxtn (in community repo) and lib32-libtxc_dxtn (in multilib repo) .
To enable S3TC compression, you may need to add
export R600_ENABLE_S3TC=1
in your ~/.bashrc .

Test was succesfull,
PKGBUILD cleaned up, corrected some dependencies.

tincup :
I don't get that error, but there are other errors (missing bin/install) and an error about llvmradeon9.1.0.so.
I'm currently working on cleaning up the PKGBUILD, it builds fine now but i want to test it before uploading and am out of time atm.

removed obsolete options, build now works again.
building opencl clover is disabled for now, see https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/11863
Those that need opencl should use rusticl instead. Note that rusticl at runtime is disabled by default, see https://docs.mesa3d.org/envvars.html#rusticl-environment-variables for info about enabling it.

Mesa and llvm are closely tied together. Everytime the llvm mesa is built against changes/updates , mesa needs to be rebuilt.
I expect anyone building mesa-git against one of the llvm trunk variants to be able to do that themselves, but atleast some of the people that built against repo llvm don't understand how to deal with such a rebuild.
The rest of this post is meant for those people.
Option A - best one
see https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/DeveloperWiki:Building_in_a_clean_chroot for the official way or https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/clean-chroot-manager for an alternative method.
Option B - 2nd best

WARNING : aur helpers don't support this method at all. They check .SRCINFO and that doesn't include this variable so it will use the default which is hardcoded to build against repo llvm.
Why would I want to use llvm development versions ?

run pacman Syu update non-repo packages for llvm if you use them
build mesa-git, log out , update mesa-git and restart X .
