Unfortunately this doesn't seem to compile as of today with a series of errors when building. Can anyone confirm?

@drws: thanks for the heads up, but when looking at the additional commits of the fork I see only build related changes and some GTK modernization, which is a bit pointless for a GTK2 project, imho, since GTK2 is deprecated anyway.

I see no compelling reason to switch this package to this fork, if that is what you are suggesting. Feel free to try to convince me otherwise :)

Very fast in compare with audacity, but may crash sometimes.
