Package release v2014_07_22-1 Somewhat late with the version bump, but I do not use the "Current" package myself anymore.

I'm not an MPLAB IDE user, can't you just add the needed source files and add the needed directories to the include paths? This is not specific to this AUR package anyway, the same applies if using the installer directly.

I've been having a hard time setting this up with MPLAB X, how should I include the MLA folder?

Version bump v2013_12_20: A major rework of MLA. The previous version, called "Legacy MLA" now, is continued in the new package "microchip-libraries-for-applications-legacy."
