@Tio Yeah, that has been an ongoing issue. I don't use a DE with desktop icons so it's pretty hard to test when it breaks if anyone has any ideas on how to fix that a PR to upstream on https://github.com/MicroPad/Electron would be really welcome.

So you know in Gnome there is no icon for the Dock and you cannot add the application to your favourite applications ;)

The install file is completely unnecessary. Symlinking can be done in the
package()
array and binaries should be installed to/usr/bin/
, not/usr/local/bin/
.This is all
micropad-bin
needs to contain, see Electron package guidelines:Since you're using the system
electron

MicroPad now uses the community electron so the issues are resolved.
