You should be able to get more verbose output if journalctl --user -xe --follow is running while trying to connect.

In general, the logs haven’t been very helpful to me either.

I'm not sure if it's a problem with this package specifically, but I'm not getting any sort of feed back when trying to connect besides the log saying it's dialing. It'll hang there forever (atleast up to 2 hours).
