It gives me problems when copying images from somewhere and pasting them in edge, for example in outlook web. Also this sometimes gave me an editor error.

Edge for Linux is released Stable now, after 1 year as Alpha/Beta only

Still broken on gnome, but the dev version 95.0.1020.5-2 is working, So I wouldn't update until beta version higher then 95.0.1020.5-2

The errors I was experiencing the new build were as a result of having latte-dock running in the background so edge lauched successfully once I killed that process.

I'm on archolinux (linux-zen 5.14) running plasma desktop environment and I'm also on systemd 249.4-1-arch

UPDATE: it wasn't latte dock but one of the widgets I put on the top latte panel (Global Menu) so it is still possible to use latte dock with the new builds.

May be this is an issue related with the drivers of your graphics card.

Look at this thread.

Still can't launch after updating to 94.0.992.14-1.

hewenjin commented on 2021-09-05 02:29 (UTC)

I have the same issue, version 94.0.992.9-1 can not launch, rollback to version 93.0.961.37-1 for now

tsbarnes commented on 2021-09-05 00:26 (UTC)

With the current version (94.0.992.9-1) Edge crashes on launch with a SIGTRAP in the SSL code on my system
