Here's a workaround while the maintainer is away:
-Git clone it
-Modify the update_version.sh script, comment out the part at the end under "commit changes"
-Make update_version.sh executable and run it
-Then run "makepkg -sic"
This will update the PKGBUILD, and then you can use the normal manual process for AUR packages to update your Edge

Perhaps the maintainer has some matters or has been busy lately. At present, I have not encountered any malicious bugs and the runtime is also very stable. We should be patient and give the maintainers more time.
@nanit190 Thank you. Am new to AUR and running into a lot of packages that arn't being maintained. With such an easy change I wonder how this continue to be outdated. It also seems to be something which could be automated.
How to update to the latest version manually :
As for now, the latest version is 120.0.2210.77. SHA256 checksum of original package is 992231fda62eb6603f846c9c35aa6f9bcfc19c00ed5c0e8d4653269ecfb23399
If only there was a way to notify the maintainer. The flatpak version of this is now more up to date.

Please wait 30 minutes after a new update is released by Microsoft. The out-of-date flag sends an email notification to all those subscribed. If after a day the package stays out-of-date then please go ahead and flag the package as out-of-date to notify us.
