Does anybody know if Edge work with fcitx on Wayland? I tried setting the flags according to fcitx FAQ but it is not working?

Here's a workaround while the maintainer is away:
-Git clone it
-Modify the update_version.sh script, comment out the part at the end under "commit changes"
-Make update_version.sh executable and run it
-Then run "makepkg -sic"
This will update the PKGBUILD, and then you can use the normal manual process for AUR packages to update your Edge

I was using

Please wait 30 minutes after a new update is released by Microsoft. The out-of-date flag sends an email notification to all those subscribed. If after a day the package stays out-of-date then please go ahead and flag the package as out-of-date to notify us.
