Audio doesn't seem to work anymore. Is there any fix? I'm using pipewire instead of pulseaudio.

Smartscreen is enabled by default, not sure if it's really needed on Linux, but it crashes on startup, when launched directly from /opt, that is, when pinned to Latte's Tasks dock (which pins the executable, not the original bash script). After I've disabled Smrtscreen, Edge is no longer crashing. Here is a backtrace:

This is happening to me too. I had to install Firefox (and it's not my preferred browser =/)

Hi there! Edge does not run for me for some reason. It's been happening since recent update. Here's what I get when I try to run it from command-line:

If it helps, then I'm running KDE on Wayland. Thanks in advance!
(This is my first time commenting on AUR - am I supposed to ask for help here? If not, do let me know :D)

I notice that when i resize a page with video like youtube it will cost a lots of cpu(80%-90%), but it didn't cost much(30%) where resize a page on youtube with no video. When i try resize the video page on windows, it didn't seem cost that much. Does everyone has that or just on my pc? Or just my cpu sucks?

Seems like libpipewire02
package is removed. Does Edge WebRTC desktop sharing under Wayland work with libpipewire-0.3.so
from pipewire
package? I haven't tested it

I'm not sure how to explain this, but whenever I update yay, the package manager tries to update edge, but this update doesn't end. My yay just keeps downloading/running for a long time. I let it run for like 15 minuutes and it still just keeps running. I had to ctrl-z for it to stop. Is this a normal thing? Should I let it continue running?

I would like to transfer as much data as possible (currently open windows and their tabs, tab history, favorites, bookmarks etc) from microsoft-edge-beta-bin (it seems unmaintaned at the moment) to microsoft-edge-stable-bin. Is this possible and if so how would one proceed? I prefer to avoid any Microsoft login "syncing"!
EDIT: I'll answer myself. Close all running MS Edge. Delete (if u like backup it up first) all contents in folder ~/.config/microsoft-edge and then copy all stuff in folder ~/.config/microsoft-edge-beta to the now empty folder. Start MS Edge and answer YES to dialog on "Recover data". Uninstall microsoft-edge-beta-bin. Voilà!

After updating to 105.0.1343.27, my passwords and some of my favorites disappeared. I tried to log out and then log in again. The situation is still the same.

I was using
--ozone-platform-hint=auto
and having the startup issue in 124 as well, changing this to--ozone-platform=wayland
fixed it for meaakashhemadri commented on 2022-03-29 13:23 (UTC) (edited on 2022-03-29 13:24 (UTC) by aakashhemadri)
