@ragreener1 the java exemptions is meant for applications built with java. the pkgname without -bin is reserved for packages building from sources

It says this:

Packages that use prebuilt deliverables, when the sources are available, must use the -bin suffix. An exception to this is with Java. The AUR should not contain the binary tarball created by makepkg, nor should it contain the filelist.

in https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/AUR_submission_guidelines so I did not. Other JDKs in the AUR do not also.

Hello, for pkgbuilds that repackage prebuilt binaries of open source program please re-upload with -bin suffix
