The latest AUR version (1.53.0-1) compiles without any problems, but attempts to install mindforger as /bin/mindforger, which fails:

(1/1) checking for file conflicts
error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
mindforger: /bin exists in filesystem (owned by filesystem)
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

@Technetium1 you need to adjust your /etc/makepkg.conf or ~/.makepkg.conf as overriding the number of makejobs in pkgbuilds for this purpose is prohibited

Please utilize all cores for the build.

This package is now deprecated, as the mindforger package is built from source now:

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/mindforger/

I'm updating the PKGBUILD to pull mindforger automatically for an easy transition.

can someone take this over because he doesn't seem to be interested to continue maintenance.

I'm willing to do it...

(or you can use the mindforger-src package)

There's a new version (1.49.0) from GitHub.

Here is a patch to install the latest Mindforger: https://hastebin.com/ewarebofew.pl

I'm having some stability issues (file browser sometimes hiding under other windows if the app isn't maximized, sometimes crashing trying to open notes from the newly added explorer view) but haven't yet pinned down if those are specific to the test computer or the version yet.

Took over as maintainer, will update shortly.
