This package is now available on PolarRepo, an unofficial arch repository for packages I (Polarian) maintain.

To use the repository add:

[polarrepo]
Server = https://polarrepo.polarian.dev/

to /etc/pacman.conf

Then import my gpg key:

$ pacman-key --recv-keys 0770E5312238C760

Then locally sign the key to verify it:

$ pacman-key --lsign-key 0770E5312238C760

Then you can install this package:

$ pacman -Syu mingo

I will update the repository every time I push a new version of the PKGBUILD here, it will automatically update when you run pacman -Syu in the future, instead of you needing to use a AUR helper (or update manually).

I do not want to maintain this package any further, sorry but maintaining proprietary software packages which the developers are unwilling to help with, is difficult and is not worth my time.

Feel free to adopt it if you want to maintain it, but I do not.

Take care,
Polarian

@SpineEyE as a note for future flags, please always give a link to the source or download within the flag, it is within the guidelines to flag with link to the new version :)

TODO: remove redundant dependencies

I would like to highlight, this is a proprietary application, your data is NOT safe, and expect spam and advertisement as it is freeware (unless you pay for the business editions).

I only keep this package updated for the sake of those who would want it, personally I do not use it.

Rokku please do not package software, and then orphan it because you have decided you do not believe with its morals.

For those who still want to use this software, the package will remain up to date.

Hello world,

This package has now been adopted by Polarian, if you would like more info about me check my website https://polarian.dev

If someone else would like to maintain this package, please email me at polarian@polarian.dev and I will gladly hand it over, after all I adopted this package, not submitted it!

@rokku - Thanks for the information, seems like this has been added since the package previously updated? Do you have any recommendations for an alternative -- Most MongoDB tools seems to suffer from being spam-ware

rokku commented on 2022-07-13 16:48 (UTC)

Do not use this package. The author of the software requires you to create an account for spamming mails and griefing for money. there are other tools around for mongodb for free.
