Could you please apply this patch https://gist.github.com/ant32/4ca731b542e3b2eb111b. I need it for qt5-webkit to correctly link to libicu. The patch comes from here https://github.com/msys2/MINGW-packages/tree/master/mingw-w64-icu but is slightly modified to apply correctly

I can confirm that mingw-w64-icu builds fine in an environment where mingw-w64-clang is not present. The presence of mingw-w64-clang certainly breaks the build though.

For one thing I haven't tested against clang just the gcc compiler in the mingw-w64 package

sorry for the late update, updated to the latest source and should build properly now too.
