Please note that mingw-w64-boost is listed as optdepends, but it should be more like "optmakedepends". If you have mingw-w64-boost installed, then C++ variant of the libftdi library (libftdipp) and unit tests will be built, otherwise they will be skipped. This package is _NOT_ listed in makedepends, because it takes very long time to build and uses a lot of space (both for compilation and for install).

Could you please verify that this package builds? Here is the log file http://arch.linuxx.org/logs/20131024-2343-mingw-w64-libftdi1.log.tar.gz. I also tried building in a clean chroot to make sure it wasn't the same problem as what emailed you about before.

The package works fine now thank you. Not sure what I or you did :) I had a bit of a hard time getting my mingw-w64 build environment up for the first time and wanted to make it easier for other people so I created a repo http://arch.linuxx.org/. I have been trying to improve the quality of mingw-w64 packages since then. Hence the reason for testing this so soon.

I'm getting errors during config. Could you please try building this in a clean chroot to test? https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/DeveloperWiki:Building_in_a_Clean_Chroot https://gist.github.com/ant32/6236716
