Checking for the downloaded file in console outputs:
$ sha256sum jpegsrc.v9c.tar.gz
682aee469c3ca857c4c38c37a6edadbfca4b04d42e56613b11590ec6aa4a278d

But the PKGBUILD file reads:
sha256sums=('1e9793e1c6ba66e7e0b6e5fe7fd0f9e935cc697854d5737adec54d93e5b3f730')

When I download the file from the official website directly by hand, I get the exact same file/hash that makepkg downloads.
But there is no checksum that reads like the hash in the pkgbuild in any of the 9x versions of the website download folder.

So I figure there was some mistake, or the file changed in the original server and no longer works with this hash.
Whatever the case, the package doesn't work as it is right now.
