The url should be changed to http://www.openssl.org/source/openssl-1.0.1e.tar.gz as the current one is broken.

Hi, I tried to add enable-static-engine as configure argument, but I still got several libs under lib/engines. grepping it only showed it in some perl script. Can you provide a patch ? xan.

Schala commented on 2013-11-20 05:19 (UTC)

Could you add enable-static-engine to ./config? This will group all the engine libs into libeay32.dll for easier distribution.

Of course, I was just updating them.

please add staticlibs sed "s|(!strip !buildflags)|(!strip !buildflags staticlibs)|" -i PKGBUILD

@ant32, nice catch. I'd suggest you report it in the arch bugs, since that applies to regular openssl as well. In the meanwhile, I found a patch that fixes that issue.

This package no longer compiles after the last perl update. To build I had to downgrade to http://arm.konnichi.com/core/os/x86_64/perl-5.16.3-3-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz . # last few lines of the compile installing man1/cms.1 cms.pod around line 457: Expected text after =item, not a number cms.pod around line 461: Expected text after =item, not a number cms.pod around line 465: Expected text after =item, not a number cms.pod around line 470: Expected text after =item, not a number cms.pod around line 474: Expected text after =item, not a number POD document had syntax errors at /usr/bin/core_perl/pod2man line 71. make: *** [install_docs] Error 1 ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package().
