Hello once again.
An update to the previous issue: the current resolution was (2)
mingw-w64-sdl2
is (again) shipping pkgconfig files. So this package is building again. However, can I ask this package to be updated to current version
2.0.5
upstream? I tested it locally and seems to be working fine. Thanks!

Hello again. I went to investigate the issue further and it seems it will not be easy to fix after all as the upstream SDL_image tarball has no support for CMake.
So I guess for the moment this package will be broken until (1) upstream SDL_image supports CMake or (2)
mingw-w64-sdl2
is able to ship pkgconfig files to build using autotools as done currently.Sorry for the annoyance!

Hello! This package is not building anymore since
mingw-w64-sdl2
was upgraded to version2.0.10-1
. See the error below during the configure phase:The problem seems to be that now the
mingw-w64-sdl2
package is not shipping the SDL pkgconfig files anymore as it is being built with CMake.See this comment from https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/mingw-w64-sdl2/
Perhaps this package needs to be updated to use CMake instead of autoconf for building as suggested by the maintainer of the main
mingw-w64-sdl2
package? Finally, there is a newer version
2.0.5
of SDL2_image available upstream, a version bump for this package here would be appreciated too.Let me know how can I help if necessary. Thanks!
