@Antoni8024 thanks for the comment,
pysassc
is in thepython-libsass
AUR pkgbuild which have been added as makedepndsAntoni8024 commented on 2023-12-30 14:44 (UTC)
https://github.com/linuxmint/mint-themes/commit/b1dfbc54992cdcc8cb0c64e9bf5ac44d69ef9709
pysassc is now used instead of sassc, causing lots of errors ('sh: line 1: pysassc: command not found') when building, looking at the commit at linuxmint/mint-themes it should be possible to just symlink it (i did this and the build succeeded)
a quick search on the official repos and the aur did not reveal any pacakge named pysassc, and the pull request description (none) also did not help to understand why this was even changed in the first place

A comment on the mint-themes package confirmed sassc is needed:

This theme use the ubuntu font. As an example, look at the file /usr/share/themes/Mint-Y-Dark-Aqua/cinnamon/cinnamon.css you will see "font-family: Ubuntu, Sans-Serif;". In my case, not having this font, will mean the calendar applet would not feet the panel(vertical).
Could you please add "ttf-ubuntu-font-family" as a depends.
thanks

While this AUR package may be up to date with its linked source repository, the source repository is not up to date with the actual Mint Y theme anymore. Quote from the source repository on github: »This is an old repository, please check https://github.com/linuxmint/mint-themes instead.«
