Fails on build.

curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found
==> ERROR: Failure while downloading

Sam-Burgos commented on 2016-05-21 03:34

Greetings, I'll be adopting the package to check new versions, because of my work and studies I can't promise to keep it updated as soon as possible, but when possible I may work on the PKGBUILD and check if something is needed or not

carlwgeorge commented on 2016-05-01 02:22

Seriously everyone, there is no need to post comments about the source URL returning a 404. If that happens to you, check to see if a newer version is available, then flag the package out of date.

mint-x-icons_1.3.4.tar.xz does not exist in directory, returns a 404

nightside commented on 2016-02-23 19:44

Works seamlessly with Mint-X theme, thank you!

Stuck at

"Downloading mint-x-icons_1.3.3.tar.gz..."

It worked while on a VPN, looks like IP banned me for some reason. The only time I connect to it is to update AUR packages...

The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found

1.2.7 does not exist, but 1.2.8 instead...

Also just a sidenote, you could add:
to reduce package build time a little.

No point in scanning for executables to strip symbols from, in an icon pack.

carlwgeorge commented on 2015-01-07 13:25

@korrode Fixed in 1.2.3-2. Thanks for pointing out the mistake so I could fix it.

korrode commented on 2015-01-05 15:04

In the install script, gtk-update-icon-cache is not being run for Mint-X-Dark.

Version 1.2.3 is out. Please update and the "NOT FOUND" error is gone.

ver 1.2.0 is out. please update!

Looks like the 1.1.7 package is missing off the upstream URL. Could we get an update to the latest (I think its 1.1.8)?

carlwgeorge commented on 2013-12-02 08:18

I went ahead and implemented a manual workaround in prepare() for that bug.

carlwgeorge commented on 2013-10-29 03:15

Thanks for that info zero-giulio. I'll add a .install file that will run "gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders --update-cache" automatically.

I'm going to hold off on submitting the update I just created. There is a bug in the latest version of the tarball.

zero-giulio commented on 2013-07-19 13:08

Sorry cwgtex, I forgot I had posted here.
The problem was not on your package:

The package is ok.
Thank you.

carlwgeorge commented on 2013-04-12 04:27

Zero-giulio, can you be more descriptive than "stops working"? That tells me nothing about the issue you are having. For what its worth, I just rebuilt this from the PKGBUILD and it worked fine.

zero-giulio commented on 2013-04-02 07:52

Yesterday, after update, it stops working

fuchs24 commented on 2012-11-12 18:22

Updated! As for what @KittyKatt said, he made a repository of mint-related packages (and some other stuff) at Check it out and, if you feel like it, put it in your /etc/pacman.conf. Enjoy!

KittyKatt commented on 2010-11-01 22:56

mint-x-icons-1.0.4 is out now in the Mint packages repository.
