Please add
python-setuptools
to the makedepends, otherwise it doesn't build. Tested by building in a clean chroot.Ralf_Mardorf commented on 2023-05-05 07:28 (UTC)
Hi, I guess it's the recent python update that breaks mirage with a ModuleNotFoundError. Bumping the pkgrel and rebuilding mirage does fix it. Regards, Ralf

mirage-0.11.1.tar.bz2 expands to 'mirage-a2e6f0aa03ffc27b0cae43776d362eac6c3a6057', so all 'cd "${pkgname}-${pkgver}"' fail.
Edit: not sure what happened but working correctly now!

For unknown reasons,
yay -S mirage
fetches an old version of this package. You can tell that by the fact that it requirespygtk
as a dependency. To fix, I had to downloadPKGBUILD
,mirage-python310-fixes.patch
andmirage.patch
from here and then build and install the package manually.fabertawe commented on 2022-09-16 13:35 (UTC)
Well I appreciate you maintaining mirage, so go ahead.
I detest the look of GTK3 but I can't hold out forever I suppose!

@dmitmel - what is the reason to move (merge) to mirage-python3?
Ralf_Mardorf commented on 2022-09-16 06:14 (UTC)
No, just do it.
