Sorry for the late reply. It works fine if put anywhere after the systemd hook. Thanks.

Oh, misread your posts... You already have systemd setup for your initramfs. Should work though. Make sure 'systemd' hook is loaded before 'archlogo'. In general the order does not matter, but systemd specifies some functions the install script needs. If all goes well lsinitcpio should contain: ./usr/share/archlogo/archlogo ./usr/lib/systemd/system/archlogo.service ./usr/lib/systemd/system/sysinit.target.wants/archlogo.service ./etc/archlogo.conf

No error or other kind of messages. I didn't modify any of the files that came with the package. Email is on the way. Thanks.

Hmm, curious... Anything special in your archlogo.conf? Do you see any error messages on boot? Something like this: cat: filename: No such file or directory Do you have the possibility to upload your initramfs anywhere? Or try to send via email to the address in my profile.

I do have mkinitcpio-archlogo 0.2.0.r6.ge177a5b-1 and I just rebuilt my initramfs to make sure. AFAIK the order of the hooks doesn't matter but I did try both with it at the beginning and at the end. # lsinitcpio /boot/initramfs-linux.img | grep archlogo ./hooks/archlogo ./usr/share/archlogo ./usr/share/archlogo/archlogo ./etc/archlogo.conf

Could you change source() part as source=('git+https://github.com/eworm-de/mkinitcpio-archlogo.git') ? Not big issue but git protocol is not allowed on my university network, I could updated package with this type of source address.

Works for me, just tested for default and systemd setup. Did you install recent version? Should be 0.2.0.r6.ge177a5b-1. And do not forget to rebuild initramfs. If it still does not work: Paste the output of: lsinitcpio /boot/initramfs-linux.img | grep archlogo

It's not working anymore with systemd initcpio and encrypted root. Before, with the normal initcpio, it used to appear before the encryption password prompt.

Why did you flag out-of-date? This is a git package, so never can be outdated. ;) Anyway, I had updated this to work with systemd initramfs which is still very uncommon I think. Updated again to work with both setups. Does this work for anybody?
