sidplay2-alsa provides sidplay2, but aur(helpers) sort of sucks when it comes to handeling provides

Edit: hmm, could probably just depend on sidplay2-libs instead, or just remove the sid support since I'm pretty sure that no one uses it anyway...

linuxlefty commented on 2015-12-28 11:41

I had the same problem as @daspostloch.

When installing via packer/yaourt, it kept complaining that it couldn't find dependency "sidplay2". However, after first installing the sidplay2-alsa package, moc-svn installed fine. Strange :-/

Turns out that way, after building a package for MOC myself, I discovered 'noexec, nosuid' is set. choose another partition, and all went well, yours is building fine too, I tested that thanks, qinohe
You could contact the MOC dev, jcf, he has some pointers?? I did sent you an email about that 2 days ago, ;) thanks.

I don't have a arm device, so I only support x86 (as hinted by $arch)

The permission error indicates that something is broken on your system though, check the actual permission on the file.

Not building on 'armv6h' 3.12.20-1-ARCH

Hi guys, does anyone of you still have this replaygain patch? It has been posted two years ago by jackoneill (just scroll down), but this link is dead. I'd REALLY love to have replaygain in moc, would make it perfect for me.

Thanks!

please add subversion and autoconf to the dependencies

gamezelda commented on 2013-02-20 10:36

An update to the latest revision would be appreciated since a recent ffmpeg update broke several formats (including MP3).

Incrementing 2522 to 2526 in the PKGBUILD seemed to work.

lenoch commented on 2012-08-01 14:26

Updated to the current revision (2454) --with-aac enabled.
I'm now disowning the package as I was asked by jsteel who seems more capable and responsible than I am.

8472 commented on 2012-07-16 07:53

Hi,

r2450 is out, fixing AAC streams.
Because of this, could you please change in the PKGBUILD configure parameter "--without-aac" to "--with-aac" ?
It works fine now, I've been testing it using patches maintainer provided me for testing prior to this release.

Also OGG streams were fixed in r2448, none configure update required.

thx

lenoch commented on 2012-05-28 23:25

Thank you Mike for your contribution :-)
I took the package ownership now and hope to serve well. Your PKGBUILD is now there, I only changed whitespace to tabs (I like them) and restored the debugging functionality (it helps when you run into problems). To disable debugging again, add --disable-debug to ./configure options.

Here is a PKGBUILD using autoreconf that works until some makes the changes.

That's, uhh, great and all, but why are you posting it here? Go take it upstream.

Upstream is replacing autogen.sh with autoreconf - they even have a cute little message informing of it during compilation (which stops build process).
You might want to update the PKGBUILD.

np, just an fyi, it's really easy as I've done it before and upstream is usually very helpful. Also don't forget about arch's principles!

Yes. You're right. Sorry. But it's not very important and I'm a lazy sod, But I'll probably manage some rainy day.... ;)

adopted and updated pkgbuild. used a modified version of kotyz's since he kept it like the one in the main repos

If anyone is interested, here is my moc-svn. It's minimal.
The only thing that works is mp3 support and network streaming, everything else is bloat and isn't compiled into moc:P
