@misc - Really? My /var/log is on a magnetic disk, not in tmpfs.

The default /var/log is rather unfavorable given that e. g. systemd puts that on a tmpfs.

Currently, I don't see any more custom modules here :) Buidling works fine btw (using pacman v3).

Tried, it fails if the install field has brackets. install=($pkgname.install) --> fails with this error: ==> ERROR: install file ((modprobed_db.install)) does not exist. however, using it without brackets: install=$pkgname.install builds correctly As said before, I'm using pacman 4 from testing. Could it be that a change in makepkg is causing this?

Try -4 if you would.

had to change install=('readme.install') to install=readme.install in order to get it to work. Maybe its because of pacman 4 (using testing)
